Ready to kickstart your career in data? Join our 18-month Data Apprenticeship Programme and get hands‑on with data and technology while working towards a fully funded, nationally recognised level 3 diploma in Data Analytics from our specialist training provider. Please note, the assessment centre for this role will be on 5 May.

All in‑person work and learning will take place in central Cardiff. Structure: Placement in Data team plus learning and days and assignments administered by a specialist provider. Hours: 37.5 hours a week (including training).

What You’ll Do You’ll spend the working week as an Associate Data Analyst – solving real business problems through data analysis and getting hands‑on with code (SQL). You’ll uncover insights, spot trends, and shape decisions that influence the future of our FTSE 100 company. Periodically attend sessions with our specialist training provider to build your knowledge and work towards your diploma.
What You’ll Bring We’re looking for people who enjoy solving problems, have a mathematical or analytical mindset, and are studying (or have studied) a STEM subject at A‑Level (or equivalent). You don’t need any previous work experience in data or tech. If you’re naturally curious, eager to learn and ready to tackle a challenge head on, we’d love to hear from you.
Predicted or achieved ‘B’ grade in at least one STEM A‑Level (or equivalent) by September 2026. 5 GCSEs at grades 9‑4 (A*‑C), including English and Maths. You don’t currently hold a degree. Some experience of working with data or numbers in a classroom setting (A‑Level or equivalent).
What Happens Next Application will progress through several stages including a maths test, pre‑screen call, assessment centre in Cardiff, and a final virtual interview.
