Applications - Test Engineer (62-85K) We are seeking an Applications Engineer to work for an industry leading manufacturer in the Binghamton, NY area. This is a direct hire opportunity. Company Overview : Global Manufacturing Leader with an excellent reputation State of the art manufacturing facility Strong benefits package offering health, dental, long- and short-term disability, life insurance, vacation time, 401K match, and more Large Engineering Department fostering career growth opportunities Key Duties include : Design & Build Test Equipment: Develop custom test systems from concept through build Define system requirements and integrate custom components Participate in hands-on assembly, integration, and validation Test Fixture Development: Collaborate with Tool Design and Engineering teams to create production-ready test fixtures Translate product drawings into functional testing requirements and specifications Test System Software Development: Develop software for: Test execution & runtime control, recipe management, and calibration processes Utilize tools like VB, LabVIEW, Python, and SQL Engineering Support: Support Design & Process Engineering with test method development Ensure products meet performance, quality, and compliance standards Education, Experience, and Requirements : BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field (with co-op/internship experience) Will also consider an AAS + 3–7 years in test engineering/technician role Exposure to test equipment, automation, or controls systems Electrical/mechanical systems integration Programming experience (VB, LabVIEW, Python, SQL) is a strong plus To apply for this position, please send your resume to [email protected] for immediate consideration.
