Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Android Mobile Development - Senior to join their dynamic team. As an Android Mobile Development - Senior, you will be part of the Mobile Development Department supporting the engineering team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, innovative thinking, and collaborative skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Android Mobile Development - Senior

Location: Austin, TX (onsite 4 days a week; alternate locations Westlake and Raleigh, NC)

What's the Job?

• Lead the development efforts for Android applications across various business channels, including Retail, Retirement, and Intelligent Assistant.
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Guide and mentor engineering team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Implement best practices in security, performance, and user experience for mobile applications.

What's Needed?

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of Android development experience with proven team leadership skills.
• Extensive experience developing complex Android applications in an enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of REST, JSON, XML, and interfacing Android applications with server-side APIs.
• Proficiency with Kotlin and familiarity with Agile development practices.
