Analytics Engineer (New York)

We’re hiring a Strategic Finance Analytics Engineer in NYC. This is a high-impact, hands-on role sitting at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and business strategy — working directly with finance and operational stakeholders to drive decision-making. This is not a pure BI or reporting role.

You should be: • Strong in Python + SQL (writing, not just using) • Experienced building data models + pipelines from scratch • Comfortable owning work end-to-end (data → insight → business impact) • Able to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analysis • Someone who has driven measurable impact (forecasting, cost optimization, performance insights, etc.) Typical backgrounds we see succeed: • Analytics Engineering / Data roles at top tech companies • Data/analytics roles within high-performing finance or consulting environments • Strong academic backgrounds (CS, Stats, Engineering, etc.) If your experience is primarily dashboarding or reporting without deep technical ownership, this likely isn’t the right fit.
