**Job Identification:** 212554 **Job Category:** Finance and Accounting **Job Schedule:** Full time The Analyst for Revenue Accounting will assume responsibility for delivering the day-to-day processes that will ensure smooth running of the Revenue Accounting function within Hiltonu2019s UK Centre of Excellence. Working with the Manager/Team Leader & Senior Analyst Revenue Accounting supporting the delivery of the function strategy and goals surrounding the processes involved in the delivery of accurate and timely reporting for c.45 hotels. **Position Summary** Under the guidance of the Manager Revenue Accounting, the post holder will be responsible for the delivery of Revenue Accounting processes to agreed timetables and Service Level Agreements. The Analyst will ensure Hiltonu2019s Centre of Excellence offers a seamless, efficient and customer focused experience which maximises on output without compromising the quality of service.

The ability to recognise how to maximise process efficiency and effectiveness is considered essential. The post holder will use their analytical skills to work through high volumes of data to identify items for review and correction whilst working to tight daily deadlines, using a risk-based approach. Where continuous issues arise with a process, the Analyst should propose potential solutions to Management and implement, upon agreement.

In addition, all tasks should be approached with a continuous improvement philosophy. The post holder will participate and play a part in supporting the delivery of Revenue Accounting strategies and team activities day-to-day, requiring attention to detail and the ability to interpret business metrics. They will also support the review of Service Level Agreements.

Key to the success of the role will be the ability to communicate and influence at various levels, both internally and with external stakeholders. **WHAT WILL I BE DOING?** **Role Activities** - Carry out and co-ordinate Revenue Accounting tasks with strong understanding of end-to-end process - Ownership for delivery of daily tasks to meet SLAs - Perform balancing activities across revenue streams such as C&E, Credit Cards, F&B, VAT - Highlight revenue queries to Hotels and take ownership for resolution - Reconciliation of cash postings including corrections and reporting - Analyse covers data and collaborate with F&B teams - Reconcile credit card transactions and highlight risks - Ownership of cancellation fee postings - Complete financial tasks including journals and reconciliations - Build relationships with hotel teams - Prepare and issue reports to Hotels - Ensure compliance with Revenue Accounting policies - Reconcile VAT and highlight compliance concerns - Support process improvement and efficiency - Ensure monthly close and reporting activities - Support analytical review processes - Support hotel lifecycle activities - Train team members and support cross training - Support project initiatives - Perform additional duties as required **Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability** - Ability to work with limited supervision and manage multiple priorities - Strong accountability and ability to meet deadlines - Technical accounting and reconciliation knowledge - Ability to use multiple systems and identify issues - Strong Excel skills - Analytical thinking and decision-making - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft) - Ability to identify financial issues and recommend actions **WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?** **Qualifications** Required: Education: High School/GED Preferred: Degree level education or equivalent experience **How Weu2019ll Help You Thrive** At Hilton, the hospitality weu2019re known for doesnu2019t end with our guests.
