Job Description
Overview The Analyst will be a supporting member of the research team, gaining broad exposure to consulting and investment management. Responsibilities The analyst will support Segal Marco Advisors research efforts broadly, including creating search books, attending manager meetings and writing meeting notes, assisting with the evaluation of investment manager performance, building and maintaining a knowledge base of investment managers, and learning cash flow analysis among other responsibilities. This position is open to our New York or Chicago office locations.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university in an analytic field such as finance, accounting, or economics. Prior experience in a professional environment with a focus on equity investments is preferred. Candidates must have a strong attention to detail, quantitative and computer background, and an interest in investments including familiarity with quantitative financial techniques.
Benefits The current salary range for this position is $62,500 to $75,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
