About our client

Our client is an established, international private equity investment firm which is looking to expand its secondaries team in Amsterdam. They are currently working out of a $20bn fund, and are in the process of fundraising for their ninth dedicated secondaries fund.

They are looking for an Analyst/Associate to focus on screening and executing new deals across Europe. The current team works closely with colleagues across a number of international offices and this is a rare opportunity to join a truly global investment firm. What the job involves

• Involvement in all elements of the secondaries deal process
• Particular responsibility for financial analysis and commercial assessment, and will also contribute to the preparation of investment memos and reports to present to the Investment Committee
• Work in a team to monitor the portfolio and the ongoing relationship management with the GPs

Who we are looking for

• Analyst/Associate level experience in a leading banking or private equity institution; long term internships are welcomed too
• This is a transaction driven role and so requires excellent analytical skills. A good understanding of private equity would be advantageous
• You do not need to be able to speak Dutch, as this is an international fund, but impeccable verbal and written English is a must
• The role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, so you must be willing to be based there full time
