AM/ DM Program Manager – New Product Development

Program Management Role, Delivering Business Objectives through cross functional team leadership Project executio n: Follow NPD Stage-Gate process. Plan & execute New Product Development (NPD) initiatives from Initiation phase through product delivery phase. Conduct Gate Reviews .Cross Functiona l Team coordinatio n: Facilitate communication across engineering, design, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales teams to maintain schedules .Timeline trackin g: Maintain project schedules, track budget expenditures, and monitor resource tasks to ensure timely deliver yRisk identificatio n: Help identify potential project risks and log mitigation actions across development phases .Status reportin g: Gather program health data, monitor KPIs & program health metrics and draft performance updates for senior leadership review .Workflow improvemen t: Apply tools & technique to improve efficiency and reduce workflow waste .Project documentatio n : Verify project documentation aligns with NPD Stage-Gate process and specified industry standards and regulatory checklists .Customer orientation : Align with OEM client expectations, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction and follow up on client requests .

Required educat ion: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineeri ng.Preferred credenti als: PMP or equivalent project management certification highly preferr ed.Industry experie nce: 8–10 years managing programs or projects within automotive OEMs or tier-1 supplie rs.Proven track rec ord: Demonstrated success steering complex New Product Development (NPD) initiatives from concept to producti on.Technical mast ery: Understanding of Stage-Gate process, Gate Reviews, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), APQP, PPAP, and DFMEA methodologi es.Leadership capabil ity: Exceptional stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, and communication skil ls.
