Aircraft Maintenance Technician / Flight Apprentice

Location: Mirabel, QC (On-Site)

Duration: Permanent Full-Time

Day Shift: Monday-Friday | 6:45 AM - 3:30 PM

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician / Flight Apprentice to join a leading aerospace and aviation team in Mirabel, Quebec.

In this role, you will support pre-flight maintenance, aircraft preparation, inspections, troubleshooting, and flight-line operations to ensure aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of safety and operational readiness.

This opportunity is ideal for an aircraft maintenance professional who has completed a flight apprenticeship and is looking to continue developing their experience in a highly technical, safety-focused aviation environment.

Please note:

AME certification is not required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-flight inspections and maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures and technical manuals
  • Support aircraft preparation, servicing, troubleshooting, and defect rectification prior to flight operations
  • Inspect aircraft systems, components, and assemblies to identify maintenance requirements and potential defects
  • Accurately complete maintenance documentation, inspection records, and technical reports
  • Support flight-line operations and aircraft readiness activities
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance personnel, engineers, licensed AMEs, and flight operations teams
  • Follow all applicable aviation safety, quality, and maintenance procedures
  • Identify, document, and communicate aircraft discrepancies and safety concerns
  • Assist with troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities as required
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience
  • Completion of a Flight Apprenticeship or equivalent flight-line maintenance training
  • Experience performing aircraft inspections, maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance practices and technical documentation
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-based, safety-critical environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to aviation safety
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Mirabel, QC
  • Eligible to obtain Canadian Secret Security Clearance

Compensation

$80K - $100K per year + full benefits packages

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

  • Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D.
