Air and Missile Defense Data Visualization Analyst

Overview

In this client-facing role you will translate IAMD data into actionable insights for planners, analysts, and leaders. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to build data-driven views that inform planning, assessment, and decision-making across US and allied programs. You’ll develop and present visualizations and dashboards that reveal trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.

This position combines data analysis with clear communication to drive rapid, informed actions in a complex defense context.

• Support client relationships and analytics in Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD)
• Research, develop, and test data methodologies for integrated data analysis
• Guide rapid decision-making through data-driven insights for planners and stakeholders
• Collaborate to provide real-time, data-driven situational awareness
• Simplify technical requirements and communicate findings to diverse audiences
• Present findings using databases, Maven, SQL, Python or R, visualization tools, and MS Office
• Apply data visualization across formats (dashboards, graphs, maps, trackers, PowerPoint) to support IAMD campaigns and engagements
• Contribute to large-scale decisions by delivering data insights across the IAMD enterprise

• 3+ years in application development, AI/ML engineering, software engineering, or data science
• 3+ years designing, developing, and maintaining complex software at enterprise scale
• 1+ years retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data for ML workflows
• 1+ years building scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, or model training and deployment
• Experience in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript for scalable solution development
• Ability to tackle ambiguity and problem-solve with minimal supervision
• Experience scripting to convert diverse data into usable formats to scale AI/ML platforms
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Mathematics and 3+ years in professional environment, or 7+ years without a degree
