AI Product Manager
Success Matcher Recruitment
Job Description
The Opportunity Our client is a high-growth AI startup that transforms the way world-class brands like DoorDash, Stripe, and Lululemon understand their customers. By analyzing millions of data points across support tickets, reviews, and social media, their platform generates automated, actionable insights that drive multi-million dollar product decisions. As the first Product Manager on the team, you will step into a high-impact role previously held by a co-founder.
You won't just be managing a roadmap; you will be the architect of the core product’s future, sitting at the intersection of complex data systems, LLMs, and enterprise customer needs. What You’ll Do Product Ownership: Define the 6–12 month strategy for the core insights platform, identifying critical areas for evolution and improvement. Technical Strategy: Design and execute the roadmap for new AI features, leveraging LLMs to build proofs-of-concept and iterate on early product experiences.
Quality Benchmarking: Build datasets, labeling frameworks, and quantitative metrics to measure AI performance, ensuring model outputs remain world-class. Customer Engagement: Work directly with senior stakeholders at enterprise companies to deeply understand their workflows and ensure our insights drive real business outcomes. Zero-to-One Delivery: Partner closely with engineering to translate ambiguous problems into concrete technical plans, taking features from initial ideation to production.
Market Expansion: Identify and validate opportunities to expand the platform into adjacent areas like sales, support, and operational insights. What We’re Looking For 4+ Years of Product Management Experience: Proven track record in a fast-paced environment, preferably within B2B SaaS or AI-driven products. Deeply Technical: You are comfortable "in the weeds" with LLMs, NLP, and data clustering.
You can hold your own in technical discussions with engineers and understand the nuances of AI quality evaluation. Customer-Centric: You enjoy being customer-facing and have the ability to extract deep pain points from enterprise users to inform product direction. Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are a "0 to 1" builder who thrives in ambiguity and is excited about taking full ownership of a core product function.
