AI Engineer

Job Overview Insight Global is seeking an AI Engineer for one of their top clients in the North Houston area. This person will be responsible for driving the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and engineering approaches for the company. Responsibilities: work directly with technology leadership to prototype new approaches, advise technical and business teams adopting new tools, and work with tech leads to evolve our stack to enable smooth AI integration.

You will take a pragmatic approach, prioritizing valuable use cases with measurable outcomes, and pushing for simple approaches where extra complexity isn’t needed. Qualifications 3+ years programming in a team context Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, Rust, Typescript, Go Previous experience working on either personal or professional AI projects using most recent AI tools Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Strong experience working in Kafka for streaming/messaging Strong understanding of data/backend fundamentals around compute, storage, and streaming Experienced in IaC (infrastructure as code) for CI/CD pipeline deployment API authorization management & development experience using tools like OAuth Must be comfortable building out UIs/frontends for POCs using React preferably (open to any frontend framework).
