Purpose of role: Support MG warehouse and logistic in Spain and Europe

Position Overview

The Aftersales Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the overall management of automotive spare parts supply chain operations, including warehouse management, transportation planning, distribution scheduling, inventory management, and third-party logistics (3PL) management.

The role will coordinate the end-to-end implementation of automotive spare parts warehousing and logistics operations, with a strong focus on cost, efficiency, quality, safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

The position will ensure the efficient flow, storage, and timely delivery of vehicle and aftersales spare parts, supporting the stable and reliable operation of the spare parts supply chain.

The ideal candidate is proactive, results-oriented, commercially minded, and strongly committed to achieving operational excellence, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Logistics Operations

  • Manage third-party logistics (3PL) operations for automotive spare parts, including transportation planning and ensuring customer delivery requirements are met.
  • Manage transportation and distribution activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of spare parts.
  • Manage the customs clearance process for spare parts.
  • Ensure warehouse operational KPIs are achieved and that inbound and outbound spare parts operations meet required service levels and parts availability targets.
  • Ensure the availability of spare parts by maintaining optimal inventory levels and placing orders in a timely manner.
  • Manage warehouse storage processes, locations, and stock allocation to ensure efficient use of warehouse space and resources.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Inventory Management

  • Manage spare parts inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure product availability.
  • Monitor inventory movements and ensure accurate inbound and outbound stock records.
  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse inventory control activities, including inbound and outbound stock counts.
  • Manage supplier claims and inventory reconciliation processes.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions.

KPI & Reporting

  • Collect, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to support warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Track warehouse and logistics performance against agreed targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Use operational data and analysis to support decision-making and improve overall warehouse performance.

Transportation & Documentation

  • Manage all inbound and outbound transportation documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all required quality assurance documentation and certifications are properly managed and maintained.
  • Coordinate with relevant logistics partners to ensure smooth transportation and delivery operations.

Process & Compliance Management

  • Ensure warehouse and logistics operations are conducted in strict accordance with company policies and established SOPs.
  • Monitor operational processes, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures where necessary.
  • Ensure appropriate standards are maintained across warehouse storage, inventory control, transportation, and logistics activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of comprehensive experience in automotive spare parts warehousing and logistics management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in team management and project leadership.
  • Solid understanding of automotive spare parts warehousing and logistics operations.
  • Experience in large-scale automotive spare parts supply chain companies or OEM-related warehousing and logistics projects is preferred.

Professional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of the full operational process of automotive spare parts warehousing and logistics transportation.
  • Good understanding of automotive spare parts classification, storage requirements, and handling standards.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, cost management, and operational issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in WMS, TMS, ERP, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong ability to independently prepare data reports, conduct performance analysis, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Solid experience in logistics supplier management, transportation capacity planning, freight cost management, and logistics risk control.
  • Proven ability to drive cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Strong project coordination, process development, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to independently manage and coordinate overall warehouse and logistics operations.
