AEM Front Backend Developer

We’re Hiring: Senior AEM Backend Developer | Experience - 5+ years | | Remote (India) | Full-Time | We are looking for an experienced Senior AEM Backend Developer to join our team for a full-time remote opportunity with a leading client in the Healthcare & Research domain. Client: Nemours Organization Location: India (Remote) Time Zone: US Eastern Time (Flexible hours) Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions in AEM • Build and customize AEM components, workflows, services, and APIs • Integrate AEM with external systems and third-party applications • Develop reusable Java-based services using Sling Models, OSGi, and JCR • Work closely with frontend developers, QA teams, and DevOps teams • Optimize application performance, caching, and security configurations • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application stability Required Skills: ✅ Strong experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) ✅ Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, OSGi, Sling, JCR, and Servlets ✅ Hands-on experience with AEM Workflows, MSM, Dispatcher, and CRXDE ✅ Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services ✅ Strong understanding of AEM Core Components and Editable Templates ✅ Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines ✅ Experience with AWS/Azure cloud environments is a plus ✅ Knowledge of caching, CDN strategies, and performance optimization ✅ Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
