Job DescriptionAdministrator - Grants & Fees - TUS Unijobs on behalf of TUS, are currently recruiting for an Administrator in the Grants & Fees department. The successful candidate will be required to commence ASAP, and the contract will run initially until November 30th. This position holds a 35-hour working week and an hourly rate of โ‚ฌ17.55.

Purpose of Department: The role-holder will provide administrative support for the Grants and Fees Office, located on TUS Moylish campus. This post will involve access to and processing of significant confidential information and will involve regular contact with TUS students, TUS staff, the public and external organisations where discretion, tact and courtesy are required. Principal duties and responsibilities: The successful candidate's duties will include the following: Respond to routine queries regarding Student Fees and Student Grants from students, their parents, external organisations or other relevant parties.

Queries are received by telephone, e-mail and by personal attendance at the Grants & Fees Office. Process credit card fee payment requests received by telephone. Update Banner, the student record system, as required, e.g. to reflect fee payments, to update student bank details, or to create/maintain student instalment plans.

Process the weekly SUSI files on Banner. Engage with students as required to facilitate payment of outstanding fees. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Desirable: A relevant academic qualification High level of proficiency in Microsoft packages, including MSword, MSexcel, MSTeams and MSoutlook, Experience in communicating and dealing with the public/customers, responding to queries and providing information in person, by telephone, or by email Experience in administration Demonstrable planning, organisation, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills A pro-active and problem-solving approach to challenges, with the flexibility to manage multiple tasks The ability to work independently and with a team, in order to deliver continuous quality improvement A positive approach to service delivery and service quality, with a customer-focus.

Strong analytical and logical skills, with the capacity to apply sound judgement. The ability to work under pressure and deliver to demanding schedules A pro-active and problem-solving approach to challenges, with the flexibility to manage multiple tasks The ability to work independently and with a team, in order to deliver continuous quality improvement Previous experience supporting a busy department/team.
