Job Description
Job DescriptionOn behalf of my public sector client in Clonakilty, West Cork, we are recruiting for a temporary administrator to provide support the day to day running of their training campus. This is a 6 month temporary contract. Administrator responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the College Principal, Assistant Principal, and College Staff Officer.
Act as the first point of contact for students, visitors, and the public, delivering a professional and high-quality customer service. Manage reception and telephone enquiries. Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
Organise meetings and appointments using Outlook, Teams, and other relevant systems. Update the website and social media channels. Manage student attendance using SEAtS.
Process student records and produce student ID cards. Operate and maintain the traffic barrier system. Provide administrative support to teaching staff and assist with course delivery.
Prepare reports, correspondence, and other documents as required. Assist with the organisation of events and promotional activities. Purchase goods and services in line with financial procedures.
Maintain accurate financial records for income and expenditure. Manage filing systems and ensure compliance with GDPR and record retention requirements. Support the development of the Business Plan.
Contribute to the delivery of high-quality customer service and continuous service improvement. Comply with all health, safety, and welfare policies and procedures. Participate in business planning and performance management processes.
Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role as assigned.
