Your responsibilities include:
- Providing personal user accounts to grant access to the BFDN for all employees, volunteer firefighters, and members of aid organizations
- Processing and documenting user account actions in the ticketing system
- Reviewing and optimizing Active Directory (AD) content to ensure efficient rights management
- Designing and refining authorization concepts for Active Directory and Exchange
- Implementing quality assurance measures in the area of user account management
- Assisting with the receipt and processing of requests to create, modify, and delete user information related to the electronic key (Key)
- Working from home is possible after a successful probationary period and by mutual agreement
You bring:
- Completed relevant vocational training as an IT specialist - system integration
- or comparable qualifications through equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of the IT processes used by the Berlin Fire Department
- Knowledge of Active Directory (permissions, group policies)
- Knowledge of standard MS Office software and IT management tools
- Proficient use of the Helpline ticket and inventory management program
- General software, hardware, and network knowledge
- Knowledge of IT management tools (Hyena, Configuration Manager console)
- Proficiency with common operating systems, system-related software, and hardware components
- Knowledge of and confident application of the legal aspects of IT use (ergonomics, accident prevention regulations, relevant regulations), as well as the GDPR and internal security standards
- Confident use of the Berlin Fire Department's access control system software
