About the Role
The role of the Admin Officer (Purchasing) is to support the Senior Budget and Finance Officer in delivering branch finance priorities via the delivery of a range of accounting functions and administrative duties in a dynamic, fast pace demanding finance environment
Key Accountabilities
Process and manage purchase orders and supplier invoices accurately and efficiently throughFinCloud.
Provide clear advice to internal stakeholders, suppliers and clients on purchasing, accounts payable and finance processes.
Undertake journals, accruals,reconciliationsand reporting to support financial close processes.
Support banking, refunds, revenue reconciliations,reportingand resolution of financial queries.
Assistwith financial and accounting policies and procedures, provide broader teamsupportand contribute to efficient finance operations.
About You
Experience raising and managing purchase orders, preferably within an Oracle Financial system.
Demonstrated experience performing andmaintainingaccuratefinancial reconciliations.
working knowledge and practical experience using financial business systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel capability for financial analysis and reporting.
Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations. Knowledge of government financial systems and the Financial Management Act is highly regarded.
