Community Care is looking for an experienced, organized and people-focused Admin Co-ordinator to join our team in Picton.

This key position oversees the day-to-day operation of our busy administrative office, supports staff and volunteers, and helps ensure clients and visitors receive exceptional service. We’re looking for someone with strong administrative and computer skills, leadership experience, good judgement and a genuine interest in making a difference in the community.

Applicants should have post-secondary education or equivalent experience, at least three years of progressively responsible administrative experience, and experience working closely with other staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, Public Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of three years’ progressively responsible administrative experience.
  • Experience supervising staff and/or volunteers.
  • Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, database management, Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • The ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Professional judgement, discretion and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Experience in the community support, health care or not-for-profit sector is considered an asset.

Conditions of Employment

  • Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence with daily use of a reliable vehicle.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
