Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead a team supporting the Reinsurance unit
- Manage direct reports who analyze data, assess risk, and prepare financial reporting
- Develop estimates for financial reporting, forecasting, and ongoing business monitoring
- Prepare and present reports and other deliverables that communicate results, insights, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
- Conduct scenario testing, risk assessments, and analytical reviews to support financial analysis and business decision-making
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external partners to support operational initiatives and resolve business issues
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards
- Lead the development and enhancement of actuarial models used for reserving, forecasting, and business analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- 6+ years of progressively responsible actuarial experience
- Querying data using SQL code
- Analyzing data using R
- Advanced Excel experience
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries required
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries preferred
