Why Work Here Fast-paced, collaborative culture Bonus: Yes Benefits: Strong Health & Dental Pension: RRSP Match up to 2.5% Vacation: 3 weeks About the Opportunity Seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage daily AP operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoice and payment processing in Canada and the US Oversee end-to-end invoice, and electronic payment processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, proper approvals, and compliance with company policies Establish, document, and enforce strong internal controls to prevent errors and fraud and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements Serve as the primary escalation point for complex invoice issues, payment discrepancies, and vendor inquiries, ensuring timely and professional resolution Maintain accurate vendor records and support vendor onboarding, changes, and verification processes Review accounts payable reports, aging schedules, and reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end close activities Monitor AP trends and risks, including aging, duplicate payments, and unusual activity, escalating issues as required to support cash flow management and financial integrity Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audit requests related to accounts payable, ensuring complete and accurate documentation Partner with Purchasing, Operations, and Project teams to resolve invoice issues and improve upstream processes and controls Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability Oversee and support the expense management program using SAP Concur, ensuring accurate review, policy compliance, timely processing, and resolution of employee expense issues Act as a subject matter expert for AP-related systems, procedures, and reporting, supporting system enhancements, testing, and user training About You 5 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role within accounts payable or accounting Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, general ledger, and financial reporting Proven experience managing and developing a team in a hybrid work environment Proficiency with ERP-based accounting systems and electronic payment platforms Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Clear and professional communication skills, with confidence interacting with vendors and internal teams Salary Range $80,000 - $90,000 / year
