An immediate opportunity has become available for an Accounts Officer - Payroll & Accounts Payable to join their collaborative finance team on a temporary to permanent basis.

The Role

This is a hands-on position combining end-to-end payroll, accounts payable and general finance support within a supportive team environment.
Your responsibilities will include:

• End-to-end payroll processing for approximately 75 employees
• Maintaining payroll records and responding to payroll enquiries
• Processing end-to-end accounts payable
• Matching, coding and processing supplier invoices
• Weekly payment runs
• Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution
• Employee expense reimbursements and corporate card administration
• Assisting with month-end journals, reconciliations and reporting where appropriate
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc finance administration

The Successful Candidate

We are open to a range of backgrounds and encourage applications from candidates who have experience across payroll and accounts payable.
You may currently be working as an:

• Accounts Officer
• Payroll Officer
• Assistant Accountant
• Bookkeeper
• Finance Officer

To be successful you will ideally possess:

• Experience processing end-to-end payroll
• Accounts payable experience from invoice through to payment runs
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive approach and willingness to support the broader finance team
• Month-end experience will be viewed favourably but is not essential
