Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Executive / Accounts Sr. Executive role based in New Delhi.

The role involves handling day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank statements, and supporting accounts payable and receivable activities. The team member will assist in preparing invoices, tracking payments, managing vendor and client accounts, and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding dues. Responsibilities also include supporting monthly and annual closings, assisting with financial reports, coordinating with internal departments and external auditors, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.

The role requires attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and proactive support to the finance function in a fast-paced media and events environment.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in core accounting practices, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing, and other statutory compliance relevant to Indian accounting standards.
  • Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including billing, collections, and vendor/client coordination.
  • Good analytical skills, numerical aptitude, and accuracy in handling financial data.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple deadlines in a dynamic business environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, MBA Finance) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a media, events, or publishing company is beneficial but not mandatory.
