Accounts Officer | Fairfield location | Permanent opportunity | Growing business | Circa $85k + super

Based in Fairfield, you’ll join a close-knit finance team supporting a busy and established operation.

The Role

This is a hands-on Accounts Officer position with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, while also providing support across Accounts Receivable and general finance administration.

Your responsibilities will include:

• High-volume processing of supplier invoices using MYOB
• Preparing payment runs, schedules and ABA files
• Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving account queries
• Managing payment terms, approvals and supporting documentation
• Daily banking and account reconciliations
• Assisting with customer invoicing and debtor follow-up
• Operational reconciliations including fuel, tolls and reimbursements
• Supporting month-end processes and inter companyinvoicing
• Responding to supplier and customer account enquiries
• General finance administration and support to the wider team

The Candidate

We're looking for an experienced Accounts Officer who enjoys being hands-on and takes pride in keeping things accurate and organised.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• MYOB experience
• Previous exposure to both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Good reconciliation and problem-solving skills
• Confidence dealing directly with suppliers and customers
• The ability to follow up outstanding items via phone and email
• Strong attention to detail and a reliable, team-focused approach
