Legacy Home Health Agency is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team! If you are a numbers-driven professional and values the "why" behind the data, we want you to help power our financial operations.

The Role
As an Accounting Specialist, you will be a cornerstone of our financial operations. Youll go beyond basic data entry to support the full accounting cyclefrom managing payables to ensuring our financial statements are audit-ready and GAAP-compliant.

What Youll Do:

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and meticulous Bank Reconciliations.
  
• Lead General Ledger, Payroll, and Benefits auditing to ensure every dollar is accounted for.
  
• Play a key role in month-end closing and the preparation of financial statements.
  
• Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting processes to support our continued growth.
• Gather and analyze data to prepare vital financial reports for leadership.

What You Bring:

• Education: A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
  
• Experience: 3+ years of proven accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or healthcare setting.
  
• Skills: Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas).
  
• Knowledge: A deep, working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
  
• Reliability: A commitment to accuracy, consistency, and accountability.
