We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Accounting Manager to oversee and support a team of Field Accountants across multiple locations and business units. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting policies and procedures, and providing operational financial support to field teams. The Accounting Manager will serve as a key liaison between corporate finance and field operations while driving process improvements, team development, and financial accuracy.

Location: Abington, PA (on-site) Key Responsibilities Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Field Accountants across multiple regions or locations Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger activity, account reconciliations, month‑end close, and financial reporting Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Review and approve journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules prepared by field accounting staff Monitor field‑level financial performance and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement Partner with operations and regional leadership teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, GAAP, and regulatory requirements Assist with annual audits and provide requested documentation and support to external auditors Evaluate and improve accounting processes, workflows, and reporting efficiencies across field operations Support implementation and optimization of accounting systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools Manage escalations related to accounting discrepancies, billing issues, expense management, and operational financial concerns Prepare ad hoc financial reports, analyses, and presentations for senior leadership Coordinate training and onboarding for new field accounting team members Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior leadership or supervisory experience Experience managing multi‑site, regional, or field accounting operations preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast‑paced environment CPA or MBA preferred but not required Preferred Skills Experience supporting decentralized or multi‑location operations Strong process improvement and systems implementation experience Ability to analyze large sets of financial data and provide actionable insights Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Proven leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
