What You’ll Do As our Accounting Manager, you will be the financial backbone of the company—balancing precision, speed, and strategic insight. Financial Leadership Own the full financial close process & systems (government contracts receivable, AP, payroll, inventory), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity Provide hands‑on support with accounting transactions, analysis, and documentation Optimize and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets & government’s property Produce financial statements that tell the story behind the numbers Compliance Ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, and relevant financial regulations Manage spending on federal government contracts within the approved rates Ensure QSEHRA reimbursements are compliant Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed Build a competent accounting team, providing training and support to ensure continuous growth and adaptability Operational Excellence & Strategy Provide insights that drive smarter, faster decisions regarding cost management & financial planning Support long‑range planning, scenario modeling, and resource optimization Improve and automate accounting workflows Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
