Accounting Manager

About the Role Financial Operations & Reporting Oversee daily accounting activities including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and the general ledger Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accurate record‑keeping Manage payroll entries and maintain organized documentation Work within ConnectWise PSA to review agreements, validate billing, reconcile time entries, and ensure accurate invoicing Budgeting & Analysis Assist with budgeting and forecasting Track spending vs budget and prepare simple variance reports Help analyze trends and provide insights to support decision‑making Internal Controls & Compliance Maintain accounting policies and consistent processes Ensure compliance with basic tax requirements and coordinate with outside accountants as needed Support annual reviews, audits, and financial documentation requests Help manage vendor relationships, payment schedules, and credit terms Maintain accurate records of receivables and follow up on outstanding invoices Systems & Process Improvement Use accounting tools such as QuickBooks Online, Excel, and ConnectWise PSA Help streamline billing workflows and improve accuracy and efficiency Support the implementation of new tools, integrations, or automation as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4‑7 years of accounting or finance experience Required Skills Solid understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and GAAP basics Experience with ConnectWise PSA or similar professional services automation platforms (preferred) Comfortable working in QuickBooks Online and Excel Strong attention to detail and highly organized Ability to manage deadlines and work independently Good communicator who enjoys working with cross‑functional teams Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Accounting / Auditing and Finance Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at BCA IT, Inc. by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
