About the role
This position is responsible for performing a broad range of accounting activities, including the preparation and management of monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, as well as supporting accounting processes related to treasury, intercompany transactions, fixed assets,
Responsibilities
- Participate in the monthly and quarterly accounting close processes, ensuring activities are performed in compliance with the company’s internal controls.
- Prepare and record monthly journal entries, including accruals, provisions, amortizations, and investment-related entries.
- Prepare and review multiple account reconciliations, obtain detailed transaction support, investigate discrepancies, and proactively resolve open reconciling items.
- Record accounting entries related to treasury operations, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and payroll accounting processes.
- Prepare and post bank-related journal entries.
- Review balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
- Support internal and external audit activities, including providing documentation and explanations as required.
- Participate in projects related to departmental initiatives and process improvements.
- Stay up to date with the company’s accounting standards, policies, and accounting manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (completed or in progress).
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Previous work experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong interest in developing a career in Finance.
Skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify and implement process enhancements.
- Experience with SAP and reporting tools such as Power BI.
