Woodlands is entering an exciting period of growth, with new campuses opening and significant investment being made across our existing portfolio. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support the financial foundations that make this growth possible.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting the future of our organisation. You'll manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable and debt processes that keep Woodlands financially sound, working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure every service is backed by accurate, well-managed finances as we continue to grow.

What you'll be doing

• Processing supplier invoices and completing monthly bank reconciliations for accounts payable
• Managing accounts receivable reconciliations, including Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and ECEC subsidy revenue reconciliations
• Owning debt management — identifying outstanding debts and following them up professionally and proactively
• Applying solid accrual and cash accounting principles across day-to-day finance activities
• Supporting asset management processes and ad hoc reporting for the Finance Manager

What you'll bring

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting
• Proven experience in accounts payable and bank reconciliation
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with MYOB and BASS (highly regarded)
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a collaborative, team-first attitude
• Punctuality and reliability you can count on
• Ideally previous experience in early childhood, education or health care sectors
