Accountant

Tucker Glynn & Co Pty Limited – Brookvale NSW

You will work closely with clients and senior team members across a broad range of accounting and taxation matters.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns
• Tax planning and advisory work
• Management of client relationships
• Preparation of BAS, IAS and other compliance obligations
• Assistance with business structuring and strategic advice
• Liaising directly with the ATO and other stakeholders

About you

• CPA or CA qualification (or be close to completion)
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a professional accounting practice
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting requirements
• Experience working with SMEs, family groups and private clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience with Xero and other cloud-based accounting software
• A proactive, client-focused approach
