Accountant

Overview

In this role you will manage international statutory reporting and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure timely, accurate financial statements. You’ll work with external auditors and 3rd-party accountants to support GAAP-based filings and monitor accounting pronouncements. The position offers exposure to US GAAP and local GAAP reporting across international entities and opportunities to drive process improvements.

• Manage compliance reporting and audit process for international entities, coordinating with 3rd party accountants, auditors, tax, legal, and cross-functional teams
• Maintain relationships with external auditors and 3rd party accountants for statutory financials
• Ensure timely and accurate external financial reports under US GAAP and local GAAP, including GAAP-to-stat differences review
• Prepare and compile supporting documents for external filings
• Monitor new accounting pronouncements relevant to external reporting
• Stay updated on company and industry changes to reflect new developments in financial statements
• Prepare flux and variance explanations for audit processes across international entities
• Improve and document processes in assigned areas
• Drive and provide support for ad hoc projects and analyses

• Understanding of international financial reporting process and ability to navigate complex accounting items
• Accounting knowledge with US GAAP and IFRS
• Excellent analytical and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLookup)
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to interact across all organization levels
• Proactive, multi-tasking, fast-learning in a dynamic environment
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
• 1+ years of accounting experience
• Big 4 audit experience and industry experience preferred
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or in progress
