Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sonipat. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, including posting entries, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts.

The role involves preparing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll data, and supporting monthly and annual closing activities. The Accountant will help prepare financial reports, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and support audits and tax filings as needed. This position requires close collaboration with management and other teams to provide accurate, timely financial information and support decision-making.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar), MS Excel, and basic MS Office tools.
• Ability to manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and invoice processing with high accuracy.
• Understanding of taxation, compliance requirements, and support for internal and external audits.
• Excellent numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a consulting or services environment.
