Accountant

We’re seeking an Accountant to join a growing team in Calgary. This is a hands‑on role suited to an accounting professional with 3+ years of progressive experience who enjoys a fast‑paced environment and improving processes and systems.

What you’ll do

• Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Support AP/AR and high-volume transactions
• Complete GST, PST and WCB filings
• Perform bank and inventory reconciliations
• Provide financial and variance analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems
• Support ad hoc projects and initiatives

What you bring

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Experience with GL accounting, reconciliations and month-end close
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills
• Microsoft 365 Business Central experience is an asset
• CPA studies or designation is an asset
• Retail experience is an asset
