Were recruiting a Recently Qualified Accountant to join a team within a successful and growing business founded in Belfast

This is a varied role for someone who has recently qualified and is looking to develop their experience within an industry environment.

Youll work across a range of finance activities, supporting accurate reporting, financial management and the wider business.

About You

• Recently qualified accountant to 1 year PQE

• Strong accounting knowledge

• Experience in financial reporting

• Good understanding of management accounts

• Strong Excel skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Well organised and able to meet deadlines

• Good communication skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Proactive and keen to develop

About Your New Role

Always

• Support the month-end process

• Prepare management accounts

• Complete balance sheet reconciliations

• Prepare accruals and prepayments

• Monitor cash flow

• Support budgets and forecasts

• Maintain accurate financial records

Often

• Prepare financial reports

• Review financial information and variances

• Support year-end accounts

• Assist with audit requirements

• Support customer and supplier accounts

• Provide financial information to management

• Help improve finance processes

Occasionally

• Assist with financial projects

• Support reporting requirements

• Help with system improvements

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting

• Complete ad hoc finance tasks

Never
