Position overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and committed full-time Accountant to join our team. This role is ideally suited to an accountant with 2-4 years' public practice experience who is looking to further develop their technical skills, expand their client exposure and progress their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for various entities
  • Completing activity statements
  • Liaising with clients and statutory authorities
  • Performing bookkeeping duties
  • Maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs)

Preferred skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years' experience in public practice accounting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A professional demeanour with a common-sense approach to work
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Energetic, team-oriented and willing to learn
  • A commitment to developing new skills
