Accountant - barcelona

Overview

In this role you will manage day-to-day accounting for the Spanish entity and ensure accurate financial data within the ERP. You will own tasks from bookkeeping to month-end close, VAT filings, and AP/AR management, while supporting audits and reporting. You will collaborate with local management and the international finance team, contributing to process improvements in a growing, cross-border environment.

• Bookkeeping for the Spanish entity

• Ensure ERP data accuracy

• Prepare and support financial reporting

• Degree in Accounting, Corporate Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience in Spain.
• Experience preparing and submitting Spanish tax filings (VAT, modelos 303/349/390, withholding, annual declarations).
• Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP (PGC) and VAT regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent Spanish and good working level of English.
