Accountant

ARZ Foodservice is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in our Reservoir, VIC office. This full-time position will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial accounting and reporting services to support the strategic objectives of our growing foodservice business.

What you’ll be doing

Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports

Maintain general ledger accounts, reconciliations and financial records with a high degree of accuracy

Assist with the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts

Support the month-end and year-end close processes

Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to guide business decision-making

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax requirements and internal policies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar financial accounting and reporting role, ideally within the foodservice or FMCG industry

Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools

Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Proactive problem-solving and analytical mindset
