Description

• Prepare accurate financial reports in compliance with relevant standards.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support organisational goals.
• Oversee reconciliations and ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary financial documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations for financial sustainability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes.
• Support the implementation of financial controls and procedures.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA (or working towards).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial standards.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job Offer

• Annual salary of $100,000 to $105,000 AUD + Super.
• A permanent position within the Not For Profit sector.
