Account Manager, Commercial Landscape

Our client is a growing $17mm commercial landscape and snow company. They are adding to their team and want to find an experienced Account Manager to cover a portfolio of properties located in the Northern part of NJ. As an Account Manager, you will serve as the primary contact for your customers and the goal is to develop long-term, loyal relationships and provide top-tier landscaping services efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service, including site walk-throughs, formal meetings, and issue resolution that lead to 90% account renewals. Sales: Grow existing account and earn new work to meet branch goals. This will involve proactively identifying areas of opportunity with your customers, developing accurate estimates and take-offs.

Business Development: Sell and maintain acceptable gross margins for contracts and enhancements. Production Communication: Exceed the needs and expectations of your customers by developing strong, collaborative partnerships with the Production Team and Branch Manager. Administrative: Responsible for preparing sales reports, estimates, contracts, enhancements, and accounts receivable.

Requirements Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills. Positive and professional outlook. Organized and resourceful.

Customer focused with an ability to problem solve. Excellent time management skills. Adept at prioritizing, scheduling, and multitasking.

Computer proficiency. Fundamentals in basic accounting and general business. Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a horticultural-related field. Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. High School Diploma or equivalent.

Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required. This company has very high Employee retention and they hardly lose clients. They have a strong culture and an owner who is highly involved with providing the necessary support the business requires.
