B & B Electrical Services is seeking a skilled and experienced A Grade Electrician for immediate start to join our dynamic team in Melbourne VIC 3000. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse electrical projects, applying your expertise to deliver high-quality installations. As an A Grade Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive professional electrical services that meet all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
This position is based on-site in Melbourne, allowing you to work directly with our teams and clients across a variety of commercial and residential projects.
Key responsibilities- Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with building codes and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults and troubleshoot complex problems efficiently to minimise downtime
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, and wiring diagrams accurately
- Conduct electrical testing and commissioning of completed workCollaborate with other tradespeople, site managers to coordinate project activities
- Ensure all work sites are kept clean and tidy, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Mentor and support junior electricians and apprentices where applicable
