Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer – Downtown Toronto Experience Levels: Senior: 8+ years; Intermediate: 4–7 years; Junior: 1–3 years We are seeking experienced Platform Engineers / DevOps Engineers to drive enterprise cloud modernization and platform engineering initiatives within a large-scale banking environment. This is a high-impact role focused on building secure, scalable, and cloud-native platforms that enable developer productivity and enterprise transformation. Key Responsibilities Cloud-native platforms: Design, build, and support enterprise systems on Azure and GCP.

Container orchestration: Manage Kubernetes and Docker-based environments. CI/CD automation: Build and maintain pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Infrastructure-as-Code: Implement Terraform, OPA, Rego, and Sentinel frameworks.

Observability & SRE: Enable monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, and reliability practices. Developer enablement: Drive productivity with Backstage portals, golden paths, and templates. Data modernization: Support SQL, NoSQL, and enterprise ETL initiatives.

AI-enabled SDLC: Contribute to GenAI platforms, RAG frameworks, and responsible AI governance. Cloud governance: Implement FinOps, security posture management, and automated compliance. Required Skills 7+ years in Platform Engineering / DevOps / Cloud Engineering.

Solid expertise in Azure and/or GCP. Hands‑on with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions. Proven experience in CI/CD automation, IaC, and cloud governance.

Knowledge of observability platforms, SRE practices, incident management. Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript, Agile/SAFe, Jira, Confluence. Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and FinOps. #J-18808-Ljbffr
