Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Manage day‐to‐day office workflow, including scheduling, check‐in/out, and patient flow. Maintain office policies, procedures. Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and facility maintenance.
Oversee outpatient gastroenterology procedures. Staff Leadership Supervise and support front‐office staff; assist with hiring, onboarding, and training. Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
Promote a positive, team‐oriented work environment. Billing & Financial Support Liaise with billing company to correct problematic claims as needed. Monitor collections of copays, balances and patient responsibilities.
Compliance & Quality Ensure adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and payer‐specific regulations. Oversee accurate medical records and release‐of‐information requests. Support internal quality‐improvement initiatives.
Technology & Systems Manage EHR/EMR workflows, tickets and staff training. Troubleshoot basic system issues and coordinate with IT support. Patient Experience Address escalated patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Monitor satisfaction trends and implement service improvements. Ensure a clean, welcoming, and efficient office environment.
