We are hiring for our client, a reputed name in the Pharma Engineering consulting domain, for the position of Piping Design Engineer with strong experience in AutoCAD Plant 3D. Position Details Position: Piping Design Engineer Qualification: B.E. / Diploma (Mechanical / Chemical) Experience: 5 – 8 Years Role Overview Piping Design Engineer with strong experience in AutoCAD Plant 3D. Key Responsibilities & Skills Good understanding of Pipe fittings, components, and Pipe materials Knowledge of ASME codes and Standards, Pipe fittings, and materials Preparation of 2D Piping conceptual layout in AutoCAD Preparation of Basic Plant / Site layouts, General arrangement drawings, etc. 3D Modeling related to Equipment, Piping and Civil/Structures using AutoCAD Plant 3D Preparing all types of Piping deliverables such as Plot Plans, Piping Layouts, Equipment Layouts, Isometrics, and others Bill of materials generation in Plant 3D and creation of templates for BOM in Plant 3D report creator Candidate with prior experience of working on Plant 3D Spec Editor will be an added advantage Expertise in designing and modeling Pipe Racks along with associated Secondary Supports Piping Specs, Specialty Items customization & catalogues preparation Troubleshooting of Plant 3D user level and advanced user level problems Working experience of review software Navisworks
